Indra Industries Ltd. was originally incorporated on 21st sep 1984 under the companies Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956) as "Swastik Fertilizer & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. having registration no. 2592 of 1984 with Registrar of companies, Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. The name of the company subsequently changed to "Swastik Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd." and a fresh certificate of change of name is obtained from ROC, MP, Gwalior on 12th Feb 1987. The name of the company was agaion changed from "Swastik Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd." to "Indra Organic Ltd." on 29th Nov 2007 vide a fresh certificate of change of name from ROC, MP & chattisgarh, Gwalior. Later, the name of the company was changed from"Indra Organic Ltd. to "Indra Industries Ltd." and a fresh certificate due to change in name was obtained from ROC, MP & chattisgarh, Gwalior on 28th March 2011.
