YEAR EVENTS
1979 - The Company was incorporated on 5th March, at Delhi. The Company
was promoted by Shriram Bearings Ltd. The Company manufacture
needle rollers, unit cages and shell bearings.

- The company entered into a financial and technical collaboration
with Industriewerk Schaeffler INA-Ingenieurdienst GmbH, West
Germany (INA).

- In terms of the agreement, INA were to provide (i) technical
know-how necessary for the manufacture of the products, (ii)
information pertaining to the application of products,
improvements and developments made by INA during the currency of
the agreement and (iii) technical assistance required in the
manufacture and application of the products.

1982 - 7 shares subscribed for by the signatories to the Memorandum of
Association, 3,39,983 shares allotted to Shriram Bearings, Ltd.
and 2,12,500 shares taken up by INA West Germany. 2,97,500
shares offered at par to the public in October.

1984 - The Workmen went on strike from 30th July to 15th August, and
again from 19th March to 18th June, 1985. Due to this and
higher costs the working resulted in losses.

1988 - During Aug/Sept. 17,00,000 Rights equity shares offered at par in
prop. 2:1. Only 4,264 shares taken up till 3.11.1988. Another
85,000 shares issued to employees but none were taken up and all
were allowed to lapse.

1989 - The Company's technical collaboration agreement with M/s. INA was
renewed for a further period of 5 years upto March 1995.

- Equity shares of a value of Rs 125 lakhs were allotted to M/s.
SRF Ltd. With the issue of the said capital, the Company became
a subsidiary of SRF, Ltd.

1993 - The Company ceased to be a subsidiary of SRF Ltd. from 1st April,
after the conversion of Funded Interest of Institution into
equity at par as per BIFR order.

1994 - The debottlenecking in some of the existing product lines and
development of new products resulted in a remarkable upturn in
the overall performance.

- 4,54,648 shares allotted to ICICI and 4,47,840 shares allotted to
IFCI due to conversion of funded interest overdues in terms of
revised rehabilitation scheme dated 20.8.1993 santioned by BIFR.

1995-99 - NO NEWS

2000 - The Company agreemnent proposed to be entered between SRF Ltd.,
its subsidiary, SRF Transnational Holdings Ltd, its associate
companies viz. Shriram Bearings Ltd., Xonix Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.
and Lotus Finance and Investment Pvt. Ltd.

2008

-The Company designated the email id exclusively for grievance redressal division / compliance officer.

2009

-Bartronics and Verayo introduce ÂUnclonableÂ RFID tags to Indian Market

-Bartronics is IndiaÂs first RFID company to be certified by ICAR

2010

-Bartronics India bags Financial Inclusion project from associate banks of State Bank of India
