AB Cotspin India Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was originally incorporated as “Ganga Cottex Private Limited” at Jalandhar, as a Private Limited Company under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 vide Certificate of Incorporation dated June 23, 1997 issued by the Registrar of Companies, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh bearing number 16-20118 of 1997. Subsequently our Company was converted from Private Limited Company to a Public Limited Company pursuant to a special resolution passed by the members of our Company in the Extra-ordinary General meeting held on March 20, 2010 and the name of the our company was changed to “Ganga Cottex Limited”. A fresh Certificate of Incorporation, consequent upon conversion of Private Limited Company to Public limited Company dated March 26, 2010 was issued by Registrar of Companies, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh, bearing corporate Identification Number U17111PB1997PLC020118. Further, the name of our company was changed to “AB Cotspin India Limited” and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated December 24, 2010, consequent upon change of name was issued by Registrar of Companies, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh. The Corporate Identification Number of our company is U17111PB1997PLC020118.

AB Cotspin India Limited started its journey in the name of ‘Ganga Cottex Private Limited’ with Cotton ginning plant.

2010
The Company was converted from a Private Company to Public Limited Company for further expansion of operations of the Company.
The Name of the Company was changed from ‘Ganga Cottex Limited’ to ‘A B Cotspin India Limited.’

2015
The Company obtained Membership certification of Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
