-Industrial Organics Ltd has informed that after the resignation of Shri N C Gupta, Chairman cum Director, Shri Varinder Gupta, Managing Director of the Company has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

2007

- Company name has been changed from Industrial Organics Limited to IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

2008

-IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has been granted a Certificate of Registration by BSI Management System, for Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 and for Environment Management System / 14001:2004

-IOL Chemicals has received accreditation certificate of foreign drug manufacture from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, Yoichi Masuzoe, Japan enabling the Company to export its bulk drugs, Ibuprofen in Japan.

-IOL Chemicals has once again been awarded the most prestigious National Energy Conservation Award 2008 (Second prize in chemical sector) for its ongoing efforts towards new technology implementation to conserve precious energy resources.

2009

-Sh. Parminder Singh Cheema has been appointed as Nominee Director on the Board of the Company

-IOL Chemicals announced the commencement of its manufacturing operations of Mono-chloro Acetic Acid (MCA) and Acetyl Chloride at its new manufacturing units with capacities of 7200 TPA and 5200 TPA respectively,

-IOL Chemicals has received DMF acknowledgement letter for ibuprofen from Health Canada, Therapeutic Products Directorate, Canada, the drug regulatory body of Canada to enable it to export ibuprofen in that country.

-IOL Chemicals has once again been awarded the most prestigious National Energy Conservation Award 2009 (second rank in Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Sector) for its ongoing efforts towards new technology implementation to conserve precious energy resources of the country.
