How to apply for a passport in Jharkhand
1. Register on the Passport Seva portal (passportindia.gov.in) or the mPassport Seva app.
2. Fill in the form, choose Normal or Tatkaal, and pay the fee online.
3. Book a slot at the Ranchi PSK or any eligible POPSK in Jharkhand.
4. Visit on the appointment day with original documents and self-attested copies.
5. Complete police verification when the Jharkhand Police contact you.
6. Track your status online. The passport arrives by Speed Post.
