The prices of AutoGas in Karnataka depends on the natural gas rates and is subject to revision once in a month based on the global prices. The common term used for Autogas in India is Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The government of India has legalized the use of LPG as an automotive fuel with effect from April 24, 2000. One has to use the LPG within the prescribed safe terms and conditions. As Autogas is cheap compared to petrol and diesel most of the vehicles across the country are using this eco-friendly, clean fuel which is derived from both natural gas and crude oil.
