The CNG Prices in NCR is changed regularly. The NCR (National Capital Region) is a coordinated planning region and is centred upon the National Capital Territory of Delhi and it comprises of NCT of Delhi and several districts surrounding it including the states of Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The CNG or Compressed Natural Gas is an economical fuel which delivers high performance at less cost and gives better mileage. It protects the environment by curtailing the negative effects of global warming. The lack of availability of Natural Gas has forced India to import it from foreign countries. The demand for the natural gas in India is much ahead of its supply.
The demand and supply factor also determines the CNG rates in NCR.

The Compressed Natural Gas or CNG is a kind of natural fuel which is an alternative source of fuel which can be used for the two-wheeler, auto, cars and so on.
This natural gas acts as an alternative fuel in the place of gasoline, LPG, petrol and diesel.
The CNG is a domestically available fuel and is known for its clean burning and economically safer form of fuel found abundantly in nature. The CNG gas is compressed and stored in pressurized tanks on the vehicles.
The CNG is made by compressing natural gas which mainly contains methane to less than 1% of its volume at standard atmospheric pressure. The CNG is stored and distributed in hard containers at a normal pressure of 200 – 220 bar either in a spherical or cylindrical shaped container to maintain equal pressure on the wall of the storage container.
The high rate of pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR) has led to the increased used of CNG in the region. The National Capital Region consists of entire NCT of Delhi and also includes several districts which surround the states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
The prominent cities of National Capital Region include Ghaziabad, Sonipat, Gurugram, Delhi, Muzaffarnagar Palwal, Faridabad, Meerut, Noida, Bahadurgarh.
The Indraprastha Gas Limited provides CNG in the National Capital Region extensively. With an objective to provide safe, reliable and convenient fuel for both commercial and domestic purpose and provide a cleaner, eco-friendly environment as an auto fuel to the NCR and Delhi region, the gas company is striving hard to bring down the alarming rate of pollution in the city of Delhi and NCR territory.
