In June, there is no regional holiday in Madhya Pradesh and as such except for one national holiday and regular bank holidays including Sundays and Second and Fourth Saturdays, banks will function as normal in the state. As per an understanding between the Indian Banks' Association and All India Bank Employees Association, all public sector banks in Madhya Pradesh and other states of India are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
In Madhya Pradesh, bank holidays do not mean people will not have access to net banking facilities. Even when banks are closed people can conduct financial transactions via online mode.
