Bank Holidays in September 2024 in Uttar Pradesh

In September, the Uttar Pradesh government have announced three bank holidays in contrast to the previous month. The holidays on the following days on September 14th, the second week of Saturday as a Bank Holiday; September 16th, on account of Eid-e-Milad; and September 28th, as the fourth week of Saturday as a Bank Holiday in Uttar Pradesh for September 2024.

Bank Holidays in Uttar Pradesh during September

All the banks in Uttar Pradesh will remain closed on the above-mentioned days. The banks will not perform the usual functioning on these days. All the banks including Vijaya India, Punjab National Bank, Syndicate Bank, and RBL Bank will remain closed on the bank holidays.

Eid-e-Milad: It is a Muslim festival. The day marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad. People clean and decorate the mosque and hold grand processions to mark the event. Mouthwatering dishes will be prepared and shared with friends and relatives on this day. It is advisable to visit certain durgahs and mosque famously present in almost all major cities during the public and bank holidays in Uttar Pradesh in September 2024. The Muslim cultural and tradition followed in the city of Lucknow is amazing since it is termed as the 'City of Nawabs' due to the high number of nawabs present here in the state's largest city.
