Step 2: Talk to the aadhar executive through Interactive Voice Response(IVR) option.
Step 3: Request the aadhar executive to get a duplicate copy of your Aadhar Card.
You can visit nearby Aadhar Enrollment Centre and get duplicate Aadhar by placing a requesting for issue of duplicate aadhar card. One has to follow the below-mentioned procedure to get a duplicate Aadhar:
Step 1: Go to the nearby Aadhar Enrollment Centre.
Step 2: Complete the Aadhar Correction Form by filling in the Aadhar Correction form.
Step 3: You can request the Aadhar Executive or Aadhar Registrar to issue a duplicate Aadhar Card if you know your Aadhaar Number properly.
Step 4: If you do not know the Aadhar Number, you can place a request to the Aadhar Executive and then the executive will verify your biometrics.
Step 5: After the successful process of verification by the Aadhar Executive, your Aadhar will be sent to your residential address.
If in case an Aadhaar cardholder loses his or her Aadhar card and their respective mobile number is not registered or linked with Aadhaar card, then they can follow the below-mentioned steps to get it reprinted.
Step 1: First visit the official web portal of UIDAI.
Step 2: Next click on the link which states ‘Order Aadhaar Reprint’ which is found under the Get Aadhaar option.
Step 3: In this page, you will find the option, ‘My Mobile number is not registered’. Check this option and enter your mobile number in the given space and click on Send OTP option or Enter TOTP
Step 4: If you choose ‘Send OTP’ option, then an OTP will be sent to the mobile number on which you prefer to receive the one – time password (OTP) and a message will be displayed on the screen which states than an OTP is sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 5: Now enter the OTP number which you have received and also tick on the checkbox agreeing to the said Terms and Conditions.
Step 6: Proceed further, now you will be redirected to a new page, wherein two options will appear side by side. The first one reads ‘Verify your Aadhaar Details’ and the second one reads ‘Preview Aadhaar Letter’. The second option which says Preview Aadhaar Letter will not be available to those whose mobile number is still not registered with the UIDAI.
