How to apply for American Express Credit Card through Offline?

Applicants can directly walk into the nearest branch of the American Express Bank and express the desire to obtain a credit card from the bank. Online Fund Transfer through UPI

This is one of the widely known payment modes nowadays. You can pay your bill payments via UPI, by following the below-given steps.

  • Open the American Express mobile banking app on your mobile and enter the VPA as AEBC37XXXXXXXXXXXXX@SC
  • Now enter the 15-digit card number of your American Express credit card and enter the bill amount.
  • Now make the payment and you are done
  • The amount will be credited to the card on the next working day if the bill payment via UPI made before 5 PM.

Online Payment

No matter where you are, pay your American Express Card Bill through your Bank Account. Online Payment service is currently available for more than 50+ participating banks in India. Go to the BillDesk portal through American Express' official website and enter all the following details to make the payment.

  • Enter your 15-digit American Express credit card number.
  • Enter your mobile number and your email address.
  • Enter your transaction amount.
  • Select the bank the amount will get debited from.
  • Select 'Proceed to Pay
  • Once the payment procedure is completed you can check the status of your transaction.

Direct Debit / NACH

  • To make your payment through Direct Debit / NACH, fill the Charge Card - Direct Debit Card enrolment form or Credit Card-Direct Debit Card enrolment form.
  • After the successful registration of Direct Debit, the total amount due will be deducted from your account via National Payment Corporation Of India's National Automated Clearing House.

Through Courier Facility

  • To make the payment through courier facility a Cheque or Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of "AEBC Card No. 37XX XXXXXX XXXXX".
  • Send the Cheque or Demand Draft to American Express Banking Corp. Cyber City, Tower 'C', DLF Building No. 8, Sector 25, DLF City Phase II, Gurgaon-122002, Haryana.
  • Note- The check must be sent 4 working days prior to the payment due date to save timely credit to your Card account and avoid penalty charges.

Through American Express App

  • Open the Amex App in your mobile and Login with your American Express Id and Password.
  • Click on statements and on the next page click on Make Payment
  • On the next page, select the Payment Method, enter the due amount and click on continue.
  • On the next page Payment Approved message will be displayed.

Through IMPS

In order to pay your credit card dues instantly, IMPS is the best option nowadays. To make payment through IMPS facility, go through the below-given steps by steps guide.

  • Login to your American Express Account
  • Select IMPS, which is located under Fund Transfer
  • Enter your payment amount
  • Enter your registered mobile number or Email Id.
  • An OTP will be delivered to your mobile number or email id.
  • Enter the OTP in the required box and click on submit
  • On the next page, you will see a successful message displayed on the screen.
